Travel Insurance for Sports and Activities

From snorkelling and hiking to abseiling to quad biking, having travel insurance for adventure sports and adventure activities can cover you while travelling the globe.

Travel Insurance for adventurous travellers

Adventure travel insurance is designed for thrillseeking travellers who want to test their limits with extreme sports and activities.

Some travellers dream of a relaxing vacation on a beach under the sun, marvelling at priceless art in museums, or visiting famous landmarks and historic sites. But for the more adventurous travellers, the best holidays are the ones that give you an incredible adrenaline rush!

Do you want to bungee jump, skydive or swing across a canyon? Trek to Everest base camp or hike the Kokoda Trail? Or perhaps explore the road less travelled on the back of a horse or a quad bike?

If that sounds more like you, we’d say you’re planning an adventure holiday!

Being adventurous doesn’t mean forgoing personal safety though, and even the most experienced adventurers can run into trouble overseas. It's important to make sure you purchase an adventure travel insurance policy that will cover all the exciting activities you want to do.

Fast Cover has your back when it comes to adventure travel insurance. You can head off feeling confident that you’re covered if something unexpected does happen.

What is “Adventure Sports” or “Adventure Activities”

Importance of Adventure Sports and Activities Travel Insurance

It is important to take out additional cover for adventure and activities when travelling abroad. Making sure you have cover could save you hundreds and thousands of dollars on medical and cancellation costs.

It is always a good idea to check what activities are covered by your insurance and what you will need to add on the adventure pack for. This can be added after you purchase the policy or when you first purchase.

What type of activities are you covered for?

Our adventure travel insurance can provide cover for your health, personal belongings and prepaid activities or tour bookings anywhere in the world.

Example Incidents~

Tom's Terrible Tumble

18-year-old Tom from Byron Bay needed over $41,000 AUD worth of overseas medical assistance after he injured himself while skiing and suffered internal bleeding. Tom and his travelling companion’s insurance policy cost just over $500 AUD for both of them. It covered the cost of Tom's emergency medical transport, surgery and hospital expenses, as well as accommodation for his friend to stay nearby while he recovered, and even their return flights to Australia in Business Class.

Pete's Pickpocketed Phone

Pete from Sydney was sailing around the Greek islands with mates when he noticed that his iPhone was missing from his pocket. He immediately reported the theft to the resort staff, his phone service provider and obtained a written report from the local police station to submit with his claim, and was reimbursed $800 AUD under the luggage and personal effects benefit of his Fast Cover travel insurance policy.

Purchased without issues

Super easy to purchase and understand what was included. If you are looking for snow sports cover this is the place to go. I rang around to a few companies and most didn't offer the range that fast cover does. Customer service was amazing!

Excellent response and outcome, will use again

After being robbed in Italy of passports, credit cards and basically everything we needed on the morning we due to fly home, we were devastated and worried what our insurance would cover. We needn't have! We were reimbursed for almost everything: new passports, taxi fares, extra two days living expenses and best of all full reimbursement of our airfares home including our upgrade to business class which we bought just a few days before we were due to fly home.
