Fast Cover Travel Insurance may provide cover for your Air New Zealand flights as part of a separate, independent travel insurance policy. This means that even if you are flying with Air New Zealand, you can choose Fast Cover for your travel insurance needs as long as you meet the eligibility criteria and trip and destination requirements under the policy.
Depending on the policy you have chosen and depending on the type of expenses you are seeking, cover may be available for unexpected events that may affect your Air New Zealand flight or your trip. Some of the benefits that may be relevant include:
- Trip Cancellation Expenses benefit can reimburse you for costs such as your non-refundable pre-paid trip bookings which can include flights, for reasons covered under the policy.
- Trip Disruption Expenses benefit can reimburse you for reasonable additional travel and accommodation expenses that you incur while you are still on your trip if it is interrupted due to circumstances specified under the policy.
Cover under the Trip Cancellation Expenses benefit and Trip Disruption Expenses benefit is subject to the terms, conditions, exclusions, limits, and sub-limits outlined in the Product Disclosure Statement (PDS). It is important that you carefully read and understand these terms to ensure the cover is suitable for your needs.
Eligibility criteria, policy terms, conditions, exclusions, limits and sub limits apply. Consider the PDS prior to deciding on which policy is right for you and your needs.
Any advice is general advice only and does not take into account your individual objectives, financial situation, or needs. Please consider the PDS before making any decisions regarding the purchase of travel insurance.
As each individual’s circumstances are different, we will assess each claim on a case-by-case basis in accordance with your specific circumstances, policy terms, and Certificate of Insurance.
